    Philipp R?sler appointed Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City Advisory Council President

    (VEN) -?The investors of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City and its member council appointed Dr. Philipp R?sler as the President of the Advisory Council.

    In his capacity as President of the Advisory Council he will act as an international brand ambassador for bilateral Vietnam-German interests and facilitator for German investments and tenants for Deutsches Haus.

    Dr. R?sler served as Vice Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and Federal Minister of Economics and Technology. During his time as Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, Dr. R?sler led efforts to expand vocational training and fostered Hi-Tech entrepreneurship, particularly in the German start-up community. Dr. R?sler also previously held the role of Germany's Federal Minister of Health.

    He has served as a Member of the Managing Board and Head of Regional and Government Engagement at the World Economic Forum (WEF), a Geneva-based not-for-profit foundation that is committed to improving the state of the world.

    Horst Geicke, Chairman and Co-Investor of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, said: “Horst Pudwill and myself as the Chairmen & Investors are delighted and honored that Dr. R?sler accepted the appointment to become President of the Advisory Council.”

    Currently, Dr. R?sler is a Global Supervisory Board member in several multinational corporations, foundations and start-ups e.g. Siemens Healthineers, Fortum, Numbrs, Bertelsmann Foundation, and the Jacobs University, Bremen.
